Michael Jacobson, MBA
Michael Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer, has over thirty years of experience assisting numerous companies in strategic planning, financial procedures, financial statement preparation, business and marketing plan creation, and operation analysis and implementation.
Michael held several CFO and COO positions prior to opening his own firm in 2001 providing strategic and financial leadership to emerging companies, on a consultancy basis. He was President, CEO and CFO at US Games, and helped grow the company from $8m to $28m in three years while reducing manufacturing costs by 35%; Michael negotiated the sale to Leisure Time Casinos and Resorts (LTCR – NASDAQ). As CFO at Squirrel Companies, a developer and manufacturer of touch screen restaurant computer systems, Michael was responsible for managing the financial turnaround from annual losses to profitability in excess of $500,000; Squirrel was acquired by Sulcus Computer Corp (SULC NASDAQ). Michael began his professional career at the international accounting firm KPMG Peat Marwick. He served in both the Audit and Tax departments during his career leaving as a Tax Manager where he was responsible for the management and review of tax services of approximately 70 clients. He is a member of the Georgia Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s, and has been an Adjunct Professor at Georgia State University. He holds an MBA from Georgia State University and a BSBA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
